REJOICE IN PRAYER

Acts 1:14
They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

I know my thoughts that I put in writing(typing) aren't as sophisticated as others. BUT somewhere out there is a soul that GOD will put one of these in their path, and I pray they get something out of it.
Just like how I got introduced to even Blogging. Somebody is responsible for planting this seed in me, and to that, I'm grateful.

Tonight, It's on my heart to talk about some of the few times I EVER prayed with a family member. It was usually behind the glass, over a phone, with it being recorded and video taped. Are you getting the visual?

My Grandfather would walk in Heart Broken once again, and before my time was up, he would ask, can I pray for you? I would say, "Sure Papaw". I would look to the left and right of me at all the other convicts and look back through the glass at him and then bow my head. First few times, I couldn't wait for it to be over, wondering if any of the other inmates seen it, or to this day I wonder if any others where doing the same?(It didn't look like it). As this would repeat over the years, I started lookin' forward to it, sometimes fighting tears(Especially when Papaw couldn't keep his heavy heart from weapin'). This is a very shameful feeling.Very Dark.

Long story made short, Today for the first time, Papaw and I sat down, then my Aunt, Mother, and then a couple others who bowed their head, and we went to the Lord with praises, and sincere LOVE. We did it as A family. Papaw & I prayed With un-selfish request, Kingdom Minded request, praying w/ assumption. There were tears of JOY and HAPPINESS!! Hugs so tight I couldn't breathe.

This will be a moment that I will Cherish and never forget. Man it was great!! I read A sign one time, it read, 'A Family That Prays Together, Stays Together'....I believe if and when the Lord Blesses me with A family, We will Bless HIM back!!

Only thing that was missin' was my Brothers, and Pop...BUT knowing our Family, they WILL hear about it...
